Brendan Chipley Roane is a Providence-based creative producer, strategist, and community connector with over twenty years of experience in business development, marketing and communications, and event production across travel & tourism, hospitality, arts, and nonprofit sectors throughout Southern New England.

Since relocating to Providence in 2005, Roane has held senior leadership roles and overseen projects for hospitality and cultural institutions including Gracie’s, the Dean Hotel, Local 121, and the Providence G (Rooftop at the G, Providence GPub, and Sarto). His experience also spans multi-location hospitality operations in Plymouth, Massachusetts and on Martha’s Vineyard, along with producing food and wine festivals, fundraising galas, large-scale community events, festivals, and block parties, as well as private client experiences.

Most recently, Roane served as Director of Marketing and Communications for G Hospitality (2016–2025), where he led brand development, media and community relations, strategic planning, programming, entertainment, and special event production across the company’s portfolio.

In 2025, Roane launched BCR Creative Relations, a consultancy and production practice supporting small business owners, community organizations, and nonprofits through strategic development, marketing and communications, and experiential event production. His work centers on relationship-building, creative programming, and projects that activate downtowns and strengthen local economies.

Current and recent projects include:

  • Holiday Paws Downtown Block Pawty, a seasonal, dog-friendly holiday celebration bringing together local businesses, vendors, and community partners for festive programming, small business promotion, and downtown activation

  • Groove & Gather: Art & Soul Experience, a daytime community gathering paired with an evening soirée, showcasing a curated blend of visual arts and soul music in a shared creative experience

  • Industry Remix Series, a curated professional gathering concept designed to connect creatives, operators, and cultural leaders across sectors

  • Special project management, production, and coordination services for downtown initiatives, including a working business lunch series supporting collaboration and dialogue among local stakeholders

  • Early-stage organizing and coordination for downtown collaboration initiatives

Outside of his professional work, Roane enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors on long walks through Roger Williams Park with his King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Reina, and is always happy to share a glass—or two—of wine over a good conversation with a fellow lover of Providence.
