Groove & Gather is a one-day Art & Soul experience bringing together visual artists, musicians, families, and friends for a vibrant celebration in downtown Providence.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, multiple city blocks come alive with creativity, rhythm, and connection, unfolding from a free daytime gathering into an intimate evening soiree.
Whether you join us for a hands-on workshop, dance in the street to live soul music, browse the curated artist marketplace, or celebrate with us in the evening, there is something for everyone.
Daytime Experience: Free Community Gathering
• Curated marketplace featuring Rhode Island visual artists
• Live soul, R&B, and groove-driven music throughout the afternoon
• Dancing in the street with DJs and live bands
• Free creative workshops and hands-on demonstrations for youth and adults

15% of all sponsorship dollars and soiree ticket revenue directly benefit Community MusicWorks and New Urban Arts, supporting arts and music education for Rhode Island students.
Groove & Gather also invests in artist-led programming, provides subsidized participation opportunities for select student and downtown-based artists, and sustains free daytime access for the community.
